Paula Noble

Principle Psychologist

B.Ed, Grad Dip Psych, Post Grad Dip Psych, Post Grad Prof Psych, MAPS, APTA

Paula is a registered psychologist and play therapist, with substantial experience working with children, adolescents and parents. Prior to registering with AHPRA as a psychologist she taught in primary schools in Australia and Singapore. Paula is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a member of the College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists. She provides psychological assessment and therapy services, including under the Medicare Better Access Initiative. Paula is trained in the Gottman Institute’s Emotion Coaching for parents, is a certified Lifeline counsellor, and a Board Approved Supervisor with AHPRA providing supervision for provisional and registered psychologists.

Prior to working in private practice, Paula worked in independent schools as a School Psychologist, providing individual therapy, group intervention, and educational assessments, in addition to supporting school systems (policy and procedures). Whilst in schools she introduced the Cool Kids program for anxious kids, Emotion Regulation talks for young children, and the Cogmed neuroscientific tool for support around working memory and attention.

A psychologist, teacher, parent and grandparent, Paula has a wealth of experience working with children and young people. An avid swimmer, for her physical and mental health she loves long distance ocean swimming.

Paula is passionate about the mental wellbeing of people and highly competent in engaging with children, adolescents and parents. She has an understanding, caring and empathic nature and is trained in evidence based treatment approaches.
